Tracey Schaal is the Director of Strategic Marketing for the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO), the Sacramento Region’s Economic Development Corporation.  In her current position, Tracey works with businesses looking to locate within the Sacramento Region, develops long-term relationships with site selection consultants, and works closely with appropriate partners to ensure successful relocations and expansions in the region. She also represents the region at trade shows and conferences across the country.  

Tracey is very involved in the community and has been a participant in Leadership Sacramento, MetroPAC Board of Directors, and is currently a member of the Downtown Sacramento Rotary Club and serves on their Board of Directors.  Tracey also sits on the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau Marketing Council and the U.S. Bank Board of Directors.  She serves on the Executive Committee for Team California, a statewide marketing cooperative corporation where she serves as both Chief Financial Officer and Member Chair.  Tracey is also active in the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) where she is part of the Member Relations Committee.

Prior to joining SACTO, Tracey worked in community and public relations and has a very strong background in sales, management  and marketing. 

Tracey earned her B.A. in Public Administration at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  She lives in Land Park with her family.
